Track schematics

Schematics of various track arrangements on the Maine two foot lines, to help those interested in these railroads to develop authentic, or plausible, layout plans.
These were created using various sources including drawings, descriptions and photos. Those wishing to model a specific place should collect photos and plans and work from them. That said, these schematics may help you decide which towns to investigate further, or may help you to develop a freelanced town that captures the look of a Maine two footer: by understanding what worked on the real railroads, we can better model them in miniature.
These schematics do not reflect the size nor shape of the tracks, just their relationship to each other, key structures, and roads. Not all structures or roads are shown.
