This is the first track plan of the DRR. The area of No. Townsend never really turned me on.

This is the begining of the railroad. South Derry yard will be built here.

This is "L" girder benchwork. I built this all by myself. Very easy to put up.

This is an over view of the So. Derry yard. South is to the right and this is the end of the line.

All the ties were gluded down. After theyare dried, they are sanded level. I then used a file card to scuff up the ties and stained them with an India ink and denatured alcohol mixture.

All the rails except for switches are spiked down using Micro Engineering "Micro Spikes" with four spikes per tie. Every tie.

This is DR #3 departing So. Derry yard. Right now she's in pieces waiting a rebuild and yes, that's my Hinkley before the rebuild.

South Derry yard is behind me. The studs are for the new walls of the train room.

The walls now have drywall up. Some sanding and paint and they'll be ready for more benchwork.

The new wall have been painted and benchwork put up. That's North Townsend on the left.

This is No. Townsend looking toward So. Derry. All this spline roadbed has been removed and new spline is being constructed.
